Roommates and their guests access the shared rooftop patio by walking through this bedroom. This room suits someone comfortable with that arrangement. Hosting is discussed in advance, with consideration for the occupant’s schedule and privacy.

The patio is mainly used in spring and summer, much less in fall, and generally isn’t used in winter. Shared access is still part of the arrangement.

• Faces the quieter rear of the apartment, away from College Street.
• Natural light comes through the large glass patio door; there is no separate window.
• Spacious closet with an especially high ceiling and plenty of storage potential.
• Located on the upper level of a two-level apartment.
• Unfurnished, with selected furniture available to purchase separately from the current occupant.

THE APARTMENT
An older apartment with character, wood floors and the visible wear that comes with age. Four roommates share the kitchen, one bathroom, and a rooftop patio/balcony with a barbecue.

The kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and toaster. TTC service is right outside, with Metro, laundromats, restaurants, cafés and other neighbourhood essentials nearby.

THE HOUSEHOLD
The current household includes women in their 30s, with some rooms changing occupants. We value a clean, considerate home where people can socialize while respecting each other’s downtime. We share chores and household supplies, and communicate about guests and shared spaces.

COSTS & DETAILS
• Exact rent: $764.03/month.
• Heat and water included.
• Electricity and internet are extra and split equally among four roommates. Your share averages approximately $50/month for electricity and $33/month for internet—about $847/month including rent. Actual bills vary.
• Household supplies are an additional shared expense.
• No laundry on site; everyone handles their own laundry at nearby laundromats.
• One occupant only; no couples or pets.
• No parking included.
• Seeking a non-smoking roommate. No smoking indoors; occasional social smoking is permitted on the patio, but regular smoking would not suit the household.
